About our Hinesville concrete contractor crew
Who we are, who comes out to your house, and why we spend most of our effort on the ground under the slab.

How I got into concrete
I learned concrete under a strict old-school boss who'd make me tear out a set of forms and set them again until they were right. I didn't love it at the time. He used to say the pour is the easy part, and after enough years I had to admit he was right, because a slab is only as good as the ground and the forms under it.
I started Hinesville Concrete in 2021 with that in mind. Homeowners, builders and small business owners around Hinesville call us for driveways, patios, foundations and the odd job other crews pass on, and we work in the cities around it too. You can see the full list of what we build on our home page. What I care about is simple. The ground is ready and the forms are true before anyone orders a truck, and you know what to expect from your new concrete after we leave.
What you can count on from us
The ground and forms come first
Before any concrete shows up, we dig out and pack the subgrade, the dirt your slab sits on, and set the forms true, because that's what decides whether a slab settles or cracks where nobody chose. It's the part you can't see on day one, so it's the first thing people want to cut from the budget and the last thing I'd let go.
The person who quoted it answers for it
I come out to look at your job and write the estimate myself. The crew I trained does the work, and I check the prep and forms before we pour, so you're never chasing someone you've never met.
Permits handled when the job needs one
The city lists driveways and patios among the projects that need a permit inside Hinesville city limits, so when yours does, we apply for it ourselves and keep the paperwork moving. If we're not sure what's needed, we check with the city or county office before we start.
Licenses and insurance
Serving Hinesville and 4 surrounding cities
Georgia contractor insurance rules
Georgia requires a residential-basic contractor to show at least $300,000 in general liability insurance, plus workers' comp as state law requires. That's what covers damage to your property and injuries to the crew, so it's fair to ask any contractor for proof, and we're fully licensed and insured.
Hinesville business license
The city requires every business working inside Hinesville city limits to hold a license before it starts, and it can fine or close one that doesn't. Those licenses run out December 31 each year, so a current one tells you the business is keeping up with the city.
